CDI health professionals have been engaged in many of the landmark health policy debates shaping our health policy today, including public and private health insurance coverage and reimbursement, managed care reform, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and reform, and bioterrorism preparedness. A signature success of CDI’s was its work in organizing the movement that resulted in legislation requiring equal treatment of both mental and physical health issues by insurers.
